Auto industry globalization: Tier I production reaches Laos

All Sites Japanese Tier I Toyota Boshoku (Kariya) is perhaps the first auto-related company to invest in a production facility in the impoverished Southeast Asian country of Laos. In April this year, the company started the manufacture of automobile seat covers in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. Production capacity is 200,000 units/year. read more
