German-based Optipack will increase its capacity by adding its fourth Reifenhäuser CSC extrusion line for the production of yogurt cups. Optipack is currently running three extrusion lines supplied by the Reifenhäuser Group. The extrusion line has a capacity of 2200 kg/hr of polystyrene and 1700 kg/hr of polypropylene. The polishing stack is equipped with four temperature-controlled post-cooling rolls and haul-off rolls, which allows the film web to be fed into the vacuum thermoformer.
