R&D/Leverage and Eastman have created a stackable bottle in R&D/Leverage’s Product Solutions Laboratory. The bottle, created specifically for the Drinktec trade show in Munich, Germany, was produced on one of R&D/Leverage’s Nissei ASB 70DPH injection stretch blowmolding machines using their single-cavity research and development tool. Eastman’s Glass Polymer materials provide the look and feel of glass with the mechanical properties of plastics, and can be molded up to 32-mm thick, according to Eastman’s information.
