Many victims of the Boston Marathon bombing, including 14 amputees, are now being transferred into the brand-new Spaulding Rehabilitation Center in Charlestown, MA. The nine-story, $225 million hospital officially opens tomorrow, replacing a worn-out facility nearby. It’s state-of-the art throughout, with ceiling-mounted lift systems to move patients from their beds to the bathroom. The facility also includes motion analysis and robotic labs.
