Value Plastics eyes major new molding plant in Colorado

Value Plastics, a subsidiary of Nordsen Corp., is planning to build a major new plastics processing plant in Loveland, CO, about 13 miles south of its current location in Fort Collins, CO. The company will invest $13 million in the building and an additional $15 million in equipment over the next five years, according to documents filed with the Loveland City Council, which meets tomorrow night to review a proposed $1.1 million incentives’ package for the project. Growth in worldwide demand for packaging machinery is expected to climb at a 4.6% annual pace through 2017 to $41.8 billion, according to a new study from The Freedonia Group .
