European part makers home in on Japanese OEMs

Japanese automakers continue to expand their offshore presences in order to alleviate the impact of currency fluctuations. In 2013, the eight major Japanese automakers produced around 16.2 million vehicles outside of Japan, up 6.5% year-on-year.
