Las Vegas – Oman-based PET supplier and sheet extruder Octal Petrochemicals is gearing up for a significant expansion in North America. At Pack Expo (Sept. 23-25; Las Vegas), William Barenberg, COO for Octal, told PlasticsToday the company is looking to invest in a facility in the Ohio valley, Cincinnati area. The initial start up will feature two lines with at least 20,000 tons/yr of sheet capacity. He said there will be enough real estate to build more capacity if needed.
