Pregis Corp. has commercialized what it calls a protective packaging first: black bubble air cushioning with up to 40% recycled content. The Astro-Bubble Renew is available in coextrusion (low-density polyethylene/nylon) and monolayer (linear-low density polyethylene) structures with bubble sizes consisting of very small, small, medium and large.
