At  K 2013  (Oct. 16-23; Dusseldorf, Germany), Kiefel, SML, Braskem and Milliken will combine both machine and material capabilities for a clear polypropylene product. Transparent, deep-draw cups produced live by Kiefel will let visitors see the high clarity and performance that can be achieved with Braskem’s Inspire 224 PP containing Milliken’s clarifying agent, Millad NXTM 8000, according to a news release. Addex Inc. , a global supplier of blown film equipment and components, will launch several new “unique” capabilities for its automatic external gauge control (EGC) systems for blown film extrusion lines.
