All Sites American medical device manufacturers are facing significant challenges but the medical device tax instituted as part of the Affordable Care Act is not one of them, says the new chairman of the Medical Plastics Division of the Society of Plastics Engineers. “The people who are saying that this (the device tax) is forcing all of our jobs offshore are full of horse hockey because it doesn’t matter where you make the product,” said Mark Bonifacio in an interview with Plastics Today. read more

He is the president of his own product development firm, Czuba Enterprises, which is located in the greater Chicago area, and holds 15 U.S. patents for his work.
